How to phrase your speech to address a group
A speech doesn't always just acknowledge one single person – sometimes it's a larger group of people, perhaps a project team or the entire company. In cases such as these, it's important to not get too impersonal. Speaking about "group efforts" is all well and good, but hearing one's name specifically will have greater impact, so remember to name everyone if possible. If the list of people is too large, still make a point of referencing particular people as examples and as a way of showing your appreciation for the team effort.
